They thrive from indirect sun & love to quickly grow and climb every which way. If you allow the plant to grow up a stake or trellis, it will develop larger, picturesque leaves with very defined Swiss Cheese like holes. Please note that tears in leaves, splits in leaves, leaves growing through splits in leafs, crinkling in leaves growing through leafs, and long vines are very normal for this plant. It is nothing to be concerned about and is not damage, just nature. Also, if a leaf or two has browning on the tips or a knick on the leaf, this is also normal for a plant growing over time
